Minimal Design, Maximum Impact

Bria Wesley has the drive to influence change in the world of sports.

She is a recent graduate of Florida A&M University with a B.S. in Broadcast Journalism.

She wears many hats across all spectrums of media. Bria has interned at WCTV, the local CBS affiliate in Tallahassee as a news & sports intern. At FAMU, she was the sports anchor for the TV station, NEWS-20. She also hosted a jazz & soul show at FAMU’s radio station WANM 90.5, where she bridged the gap between several eras of music. Lastly, she served as a correspondent and producer for the Sirius XM show "FAMU Now."

Outside of storytelling, she enjoys swimming, writing poetry and volunteering in her community. She isn’t a stranger to servicing her community locally, but globally as well. During a study abroad venture in 2016, she taught English to children in Costa Rica.

Bria belongs to the National Association of Black Journalists and SISTUHS, Incorporated, a community service organization.

One of her favorite quotes to live by is, “Being the best is great, you're number one. Being unique is greater, you're the only one.”
